American Psycho rocks. It is by far one of the best movies of that year. Very inspirational.

If you like EBM/industrial/Synthpop, listen to this. It's a short clip of Stability, by my band, November Process :)

I also started the novemberprocess fan community...so if you have any feedback, join and talk about it!
Have fun!

hellooooooooooo all.

did any of you catch American Pyscho on the USA network friday night/saturday morning at midnight? oh my little pretties, it was lovely. i only watched it until the chainsaw/white tennis shoes part b/c that makes me laugh and i was very tired. but watching it the second time around reinforced the need for me to go out and buy the film. wow wow wow. and now i have to re-read the book. and also look at all the Christian Bale pictures that i have on my computer b/c he is just THAT hot. does anyone else think that Bale talks like Ellis in AP? or is it just me?? i think that Bale's american/Bateman accent sounds just like Ellis. i'm crazy, tho. okay. bye!!!!

I am indeed obsessed with American Psycho- I adore the book, as I do all other Ellis' work, and the film is a fantastic in-joke all the way through.

I thought I'd say hello.
....where I can be obsessed and it won't be anything new.

I'm Abigor. 32 year old corpgoth who read the book a few years back while working at American Express Financial Advisors at the time. I've seen the film probably 8-12 times in the cinema and own the unrated version on DVD.

Query: A long time ago Pseudo ran a program where Mary Haron, Willem Dafoe and others from the film read exerpts from the book and such but most importantly there were some scenes that never made it into the film. I remember some talk on the Christian Bale Website about how Christian and Mary were upset that pseudo put them up there because there were never to be seen. I emailed pseudo.com and all I got basically was 'Hi. What can i do for you?' when I clearly asked where I would find those clips again.
If anybody can lend a hand, It would be great. I beleive there were five clips altogether.

So while I was joining this community, I was thinking, what is the point? What am I going to say? Yes I have seen the movie. Yes I think it is the greatest piece of satire on the late '80s and early '90s ever written. But beyond the pleasantries, what is there really to talk about. I guess, to all the consumers out there, lets go buy another copy of our favorite movie or book or product placement toy and have a holly jolly christmas.
